Vectordiary.com Back Again!
You may have noticed that the website has been down for a week. It has been sluggish last month and the server crashed at the end of the month. It took a week to reinstall the whole database and upgrade the server. Now, you will experience a faster loading time.
Also, there will be 3 new premium tutorials this month as I wan’t able to publish the second tutorial for last month. So enjoy!

Vector Diary will be offering premium membership at a low cost of $6 a month. The main objective of the premium tutorials is to help you learn more illustrator skills and techniques. The fees will help pay for the cost of the hosting, site administration and writers. We have kept the fees at a minimum $6 a month to benefit everyone. The things you will learn in premium tutorials far exceed the cost of the fees. Finally, I hope that premium tutorials can benefit you and you can show your support to Vector Diary by joining as a premium member.

Deadline Approaching: SCION Presents: FRESHLY SQUEEZED Web Design Challenge
It’s been a long run, but the deadline for the FRESHLY SQUEEZED Web Design Challenge is almost here. The grand prize-winning designer will win $5000 and have his or her design adapted by J.U.i.C.E. Designers, artists and illustrators have until MAY 8 to submit their designs at http://scionjuice.cutandpaste.com.
J.U.i.C.E. is an afterschool program in Los Angeles that works to develop youth leadership and technical skills, creative expression and self-confidence through the artistic elements of hip hop like break dancing, urban art, deejaying, emceeing and music recording. I just launched Free vector graphics and Free photoshop brushes which will host the best free vector graphics and Photoshop brushes on the web. Revamp for Vectordiary???
It has been close to a year since my blog started and now the current blog theme feels dry to me. I think it needs to be more exciting with a more professional look since my RSS readership has grown to more than a 1,000. If you have any suggestions or features to help improve Vectordiary, I will wish to hear.
