Vector Diary Gets a New Look!

After a week of planning and redesign, the new theme for Vector Diary is finally done! The previous color scheme is too dull and I decided to settle on a brighter color scheme. You may have noticed that the website has been down for a week. It has been sluggish last month and the server crashed at the end of the month. It took a week to reinstall the whole database and upgrade the server. Now, you will experience a faster loading time.

Also, there will be 3 new premium tutorials this month as I wan’t able to publish the second tutorial for last month. So enjoy!

Cut&Paste is hosting an online web design contest with a grand prize of $5,000. You will be designing a website for J.U.i.C.E., a nonprofit after-school program that allows the underprivileged youth of Los Angeles to express themselves through dance, music, visual arts, and MC skills workshops.

The FRESHLY SQUEEZED Web Design Challenge is accepting entries from February 20 through April 10. Any United States citizens, ages 18 years and older can participate in this contest.
