As an illustrator yourself, you should understand and respect the copyrights of the artwork of others that you post as it comes as a bit of a surprise to the artist, me, to see it posted without permission or credit (other then a simple link) on your blog which you gain from in however many ways.

    Although I appreciate the pointing to my work as an example of good work, you should understand that every time its used it’s value is decreased as copyrighted art for resale and thus a more complete credit to the artist would, in some cases where the created sees fit, be a satisfactory trade off not to mention the more progressional standard on your part.

    Let’s not drop the standards of our industry.
